2004, oil on canvass, 72 x 48 Parallel lives have always been a source of fascination. Rosalie
Allen lived her life as a yodelling radio cowgirl in NYC for more than forty years. She
even played Carnegie Hall! We think we know others but we really dont. The millions
who ride the trains into the city every day sometimes find comfort thinking they know
their seat mates. We carry the stories we hear from one another making us immortal. At
least until the other forgets or dies. |
